Rev. Paul King
Our Senior Pastor is Paul King. Paul is passionate about seeing people won for Christ. Living and working in intentional community for many years, he has a heart for the underprivileged, the marginalized, and those who are hurting. Paul delights in seeing people fulfilling their God given potential and becoming all that God has created them to be.
His messages on Sunday are always relevant, hard hitting, pull no punches and designed to challenge us to action and to bring us closer to God and each other.
Coming out of a motor racing background, Paul is a keen sports motorcyclist and sees the many interstate trips he organizes as part of his ministry to those outside of the church.
Married to Kate, and with a large family, his interests, apart from his pastoral responsibilities are attending his sons' basketball matches, spending time with their five grandchildren and riding his Kawasaki ZRX1200 and Z900 motorcycles.
Paul and Kate's family are wide spread: one daughter an Occupational Therapist is living in Melbourne.
Another daughter recently returned to Australia after living in Alaska for the past 5 years is now studying
accountancy at Uni. #1 son is studying a double degree in Building Management at Uni and soon to head o/s
to Carolina on a Scholarship. #2 son has recently started as an Apprentice Electrician, and #3 son is
studying at Pembroke. All play District basketball and/or football, weights and are involved in the
church's ministries.
Asked recently why anyone should consider coming to Knightsbridge, he responded:
"If you are looking for a church that is connected to its Community, is outwardly focused, has vibrant worship, challenging preaching and is filled with young families, older folk, babies and kids and teenagers all celebrating God's love and grace together and which has a lot of fun while doing all that...then Knightsbridge is for you!"

Josh Boyce
Josh Boyce looks after Knightsbridge's Youth and Creative Ministries. Originally from Sydney, Josh made the move south in 2007 not knowing what was ahead of him (not having a job or knowing anyone in SA) - but he has never looked back since.
Having settled in SA Josh worked as a school chaplain in the northern suburbs, combining this with his undergraduate theology studies at Tabor Adelaide. Now, in his honours year at Flinders University, Josh works at the church 4 days a week coordinating our high school and young adults' ministries and taking on the role of Music Director for our worship band.
Josh is passionate about young people realising their full potential, which can only be truly discovered within the context of a relationship with God. Not having the smoothest of life journey's has enabled Josh to understand that things aren't always black and white - but the beautiful truth is that God meets us in our mess and walks the journey faithfully alongside - taking as much time and space as we need.
An avid historian, Josh devours literature of every genre and ilk, a habit which necessitates frequent renovations to his office to make room for more bookshelves! Since moving to SA, Josh has immersed himself in the local late night jazz scene, the wine industry and the relaxing opportunities that day trips driving through the Adelaide Hills provide.
If Josh's life philosophy could be summed up in a sentence it would be this: "We are all God's children, made in his image, and he is not very far from any one of us". Josh is passionate about equipping those around him to realise, embrace and share that truth through every thought reflected upon, action undertaken and word spoken.
It is a joy for Josh, a self-taught pianist and vocalist to lead worship at Knightsbridge on Sunday mornings and it is his dearest desire that all who come to church might meet with the Creator God in a special way and to discover the significance of his love for us afresh - and what that means for our lives.
At Knightsbridge, we are known as a church that cares for its members and those in its local community.
The support we offer at Knightsbridge includes social groups, aged care, visitation, meals, transportation and practical resources for those in need. Each member of our church is included in a care group that offers crisis support and nurture for spiritual growth.
The Pastoral Care Ministry Team exists to ensure that everyone in our church family feels valued, cared for, accepted and loved and to encourage a culture within the Church family of caring for others.
Judy Hewton | Pastoral Care Ministry Team Leader
The Prayer Ministry Team at Knightsbridge Baptist Church provides opportunities for the church to come together to pray for God's work amongst us and in the world.
There are three organized prayer occasions:
7am to 8am on Wednesdays in the Fellowship Centre: worship & prayer
9.30am to 10.30am on Thursdays in the Pastor's office: sharing & prayer
9.30am to 9.55am on Sundays in the Prayer Room: pre-service prayer
God has chosen to do his work in response to prayer. We count it an enormous privilege to be called to this prayer ministry - working with God to achieve his purposes! At Knightsbridge we believe that the only work of any lasting significance is that which God has inspired and directed. In our praying we seek to discern the mind of God and his strength and blessing for the tasks he has set before us.
The work of God through Knightsbridge is not our only focus. We also spend time praying for things that are happening in the world around us. If God is calling you to prayer for his work at Knightsbridge and around the world, please consider joining us on Wednesday mornings at the start of your day (truly you do get used to getting up early to get there!) or mid-mornings on Thursdays.
As a church we need to be constantly, and continuously, in prayer so that we are attuned to God's leading, we are equipped for the spiritual warfare that a true work of God provokes, and we are able to work with the power that God supplies.
