Activ8 Overview (was Young Church)

Children from Reception to Year 7 participate in our exciting Sunday morning program called Activ8. We teach from the Route 52 Bible study curriculum. We divide into the following three age-related groups:
Our Reception to Year 2 children are learning from the "Explore Bible Stories" program. This program helps children thank, worship, and pray to God; learn about and begin to follow Jesus; decide to share and be kind; and tell what is special about Jesus.
Year 3 to Year 5 children are learning from the "Follow the Bible" program. This program helps young readers increase their vocabulary of Bible words, believe that the Bible is God's Word, use Bible references to find Bible verses, and celebrate their new knowledge.
"Grow Up in Christ" is being taught to our Year 6 and Year 7 children. This program helps kids understand how they can grow up in Christ by searching for and finding God's goodness, discovering ways to show Christ's love, and telling about their hope in Jesus.
